Its was a magical experience for us. We celebrated our 18th Wedding Anniversary and she made it so special for us. We felt right at home. There were so many thoughtful touches. Our stay at Northstar Escape was perfect. Location is beautiful and peaceful. Balcony has the perfect view (we drank morning coffee there everyday). The property felt just like home and was stocked with everything we needed..not to mention very clean and comfortable. Jamila was an excellent host, very responsive and made our arrival special with a birthday surprise for my mom! Property is exactly as advertised and only minutes away from Magen’s Bay! I will be back!!! Jamila was very responsive, very kind, very welcoming. The pictures do the rental absolutely no justice!!! The few was amazing, the area was quiet to the point you get the white noise by simply lifting the window. She practically provided everything from beach needs to magazines to coffee!!! The decor had me stunned and that all is why I didn't want to leave. She helped us prior to arriving with recommendations, gave great instructions to the taxi driver so finding her wasn't hard at all. She didn't bother us a bit!!! We got to see the lovely face behind her calming voice when leaving as she offered a ride to the airport and she was super friendly. Her husband gave us a free trip of the cruise ship!!! Jamila's unit was very spacious and worked well for two couples. There was no clutter, and everything in the unit had purpose. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning and ceiling plans were a plus. We went to the beach every day and we were able to use the beach chairs and towels that were provided in the unit. The location was about a 20 minute drive from Red Hook, and a 10 minute drive from town. This home was spotless, spacious and a spectacular view! I only wish we could stay longer. Jamila was an excellent hostess, and was super responsive. When we return, it would be a pleasure to stay here again! I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying on the island.
